I want to say thanks to all the moms on Mother's Day. Under Jewish custom during Bible times, the mother was the main care giver for the children during their first several years. This is because of the nurture of a mom. It was her privilege to help shape their character and moral compass. That is still true today. Thanks for all you do to shape a new generation for God.
Ahh, so that's what I'm supposed to be doing! :-) No really, thank you for that encouragement. As a stay at home Mum, it's so easy to forget why you're there. It's not just to change diapers, wipe noses, clean house, do laundry, cook dinner, and so on...it's truly to help train up the children in the admonition of the Lord...help them to find their special "bent" in life, as Proverbs would say it! Again, thank you for that encouragement!

A woman with a true mother's heart can be one that has never birthed a child, but has a genuine God, given ability to fulfill the position of being a mother (care giver). That is really what it is all about (TLC). Even a birth mother does not always fulfill this in her children.
