I have been saying that the year 2010 is the year of the double covenant. I heard this on the inside probably three months ago. In studying for this year I have been looking for scriptures about the double covenant. I found several. My favorite one is Zech.9:11-12. Here God said "I will restore double to you." Notice, God used the word "restore". This word means to return something that you once had. That is also the first part of the Bible definition of the word double. In the word double, God will first return what you once had, but double means to return and add the same value again. So, does this mean God is going to give us all our stuff that we have lost back and double? Yes and No! In this scripture in Zech. 9:11, He said He would set us free from the waterless pit. This phrase "waterless pit" describes a well that was dug for water, that dried up and now is used as a tomb. To set us free from the waterless pit means, He will takes those dream and situations that once flowed with life, but became a memorial of defeat, and breath life into them again. God will use those resurrected dreams to bring double into your life!! Happy New Year!!! Don't miss the next blog on 2010 from the perspective of Biblical Numerology.
We are looking forward to this year and all it holds the 2010 4r's rebuilding, restoration, revelation and returning to the stronghold!

I love to hearing teaching about dreams. So many times our enemy has lied to us and told us that because of our past mistakes our dreams can never be resurrected. When the truth is that we may only need to repent and make necessary corrections to see those dreams resurrected. We also need to make sure they were God given dreams and not just something we wanted to do.

Padre' Eddie, Reading your blog reminds me of a recent conversation I had with another leader with 'significant' fruit and he shared that there is such a thing called a 20/10 vision, which basically means what a "normal" person can see clearly at 20 feet, you can see at 10 feet. A higher, clearer & indepth vision than what is considered the norm of 20/20 'perfect' vision. He went on to share that Fighter Pilots & certain Elite Armed Forces require 20/10 vision(better than perfect)to be part of their team! I believe God is supernaturally and sovereignly raising globally a prophetic generation of men & women of 20/10 vision & beyond... who will quitely, consistently & persistently ACT BY FAITH upon the spiritual insights from the events of the past, present & future! Exciting times the Lord has allowed us to live in! There is a 'Resurrection' going on from the 'waterless pit'!!!!
I apologize for the long response... got all "stirred up" reading your blog this morning!

Wow...how my heart leaps with the hope of my dreams being birthed! I need that atmosphere! I WANT that atmosphere! I am happy to be at VWC, who believes in an atmosphere of faith, love and total surrender to our Father and His 'line of duty' set for for His children! Keep 'blasting us with His heart!' Love it!!!!!

Thanks Pastor for the 2010 words of encouragement. I really enjoy starting the year with directions and "20/10" (thanks AJ) vision from the Holy Spirit. Our hopes and dreams surrendered to the plan of God for our lives is worth a "double" take or look.

Pastor Eddie, I thank God for the word you received concerning Y2010. I am encouraged and strenthened to stand firmer to see God's 'double' manifested in ourlives.
While cruising KCM's list of prophecies, I viewed the oldest one listed. It is of Thomas Hicks' 7/1961 End Times Vision. He talks about a vision of a giant that rises up from the earth. He refers to Joel 2:23 and makes a comment that "It is not only going to be the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, but he is going to give to his people in these last days a double portion of the power of God!" Hallelujah!!
Hicks goes on to express that in the last days, the church will rise. Many everyday believers-[in the market place]will be performing miracles.
Pastor, I thank you for consecrating yourself to hear from God. May he continue to crown your year with goodness.
